THE WINERY

The estate’s history has its roots in the beginning of the 20th century, in the heart of the valley which was described by the illustrious Ovidio (43 BC -18 AD), in a verse of his “Amores”.

For more than a century the vineyards that lie on the hills of the Peligna Valley have been cultivated by the Margiotta family,  with the same precision and passion that the founder Gabriele managed to pass on his children, at a time when viticulture could only mean hard work and the vines were bush-trained.
