How can I participate in a tasting of Cantina Margiotta wines?

To participate you must book by clicking on the "Book now" button. The tasting requires preparation and therefore it is essential to book at least 48 hours before the experience.

How much does a full tasting experience cost?

The cost of the complete experience is €20 per person, VAT included, and includes:
1. Visit to the historic vineyard of Cantina Margiotta;
2. Visit to the innovative chromotherapy barrel cellar of Cantina Margiotta;
3. Tasting of Abruzzo wines from Cantina Margiotta, accompanied by local products

Does the wine tasting also include accompanying local products?

How long does the tasting tour last?

The duration of the complete experience is approximately 1h30min.

How will the tour be managed in case of rain?

Unfortunately, we will not have the opportunity to visit the vineyards, but we will make your experience equally informative and enjoyable. We will dedicate more time to tasting and visiting the cellar, delving into the topic of harvesting and fermentation.

Can I bring my dog ​​with me?

Animals are our great friends, so absolutely yes! They will be able to accompany us on outdoor visits, but for hygienic reasons, they will not be able to enter the cellar.

How is payment made?

Payment takes place at the time of booking, so you no longer have to worry about the experience, and you can use credit, debit cards and Google Pay.

What happens if I can't attend the tasting?

If you can no longer participate in your experience, contact us at You will be fully refunded the cost of your booking.

In what language are the tastings organised?

Our visitor groups are made up of people from all over the world. The tasting and visit, therefore, are conducted simultaneously in both English and Italian.

Can I purchase and ship wine after the tasting?

Certainly. Cantina Margiotta is equipped with a shop where you can go at the end of the tasting to purchase the products you appreciated most. If you want to ship the products you have purchased, remember for the moment it is only possible on Italian territory.

If I have food intolerances or preferences, who should I contact?

If you have intolerances or specific food preferences, you can book your tasting with peace of mind: we have vegan, vegetarian and suitable alternatives for celiacs and those intolerant to lactose. To have them available, it is important to notify us by writing to us after booking at, indicating your name, surname and date of booking and explaining your specific case.
