Visit our historic vineyard, where we will guide you through the annual activities and share curiosities about our production.

Visit the cellar

You will visit our unique chromotherapy barrel room, where we will illustrate the particular functionality of using lights in our aging techniques.

Taste

You will taste a selection of our best Abruzzo wines, accompanied by local products, in our Tasting Room, overlooking Mount Morrone

How can I participate in a Cantina Margiotta wine tasting?

To participate you must make a reservation. You can use this calendar to choose the date and time and specify the number of participants. At the end of the booking process, you will receive a confirmation email. Make sure you have received it to ensure you have successfully completed your booking.

How much does a Cantina Margiotta wine tasting experience cost

The cost of a wine tasting is €25 per person, VAT included, and includes:
1. Visit to the historic vineyard of Cantina Margiotta;
2. Visit to the cellar and the innovative chromotherapy barrel room of Cantina Margiotta;
3. Tasting of Abruzzo wines from Cantina Margiotta, accompanied by local products.

Which wines are offered during the tasting?

The wines offered in our wine tasting are that of the Cretara line:

  • Pecorino (white)
  • Cerasuolo Superiore (best rosé wine according to Luca Maroni)
  • Montepulciano d'Abruzzo (red)
  • Surprise wine

Certainly! The wine tasting is accompanied by products supplied by local farms. You can find out what this season's products are by viewing the menu

How long does the tasting tour last?

The duration of the complete experience is approximately 1h30min. There will be time to experience all the stages of the tour and to give space to our guests' doubts and curiosities.

How will the tour be managed in case of rain?

In case of rain, you will not be able to visit the vineyards, but we will make the experience equally informative and pleasant. We will dedicate more time to tasting the wines and visiting the cellar, delving into the topic of harvesting and fermentation.

Can I bring my dog ​​with me?

Animals are our great friends, so absolutely yes! They will be able to accompany us on outdoor visits, but for hygiene reasons, they will not be able to enter the cellar.

What happens if I can't attend the tasting?

If you can no longer participate in your experience, contact us at info@margiottavini.it. You will be fully refunded the cost of your booking.

In what language are the tastings organised?

Our visitor groups are made up of people from all over the world. The tasting and visit, therefore, are conducted simultaneously in both English and Italian.

How is payment made and with what methods?

Payment takes place online on our store, at the time of booking, so you no longer have any worries at the time of the experience. You can use debit, credit, Apple Pay and Google Pay cards

Can I purchase and ship wine after the tasting?

Certainly. Cantina Margiotta is equipped with a shop where you can go at the end of the tasting to purchase the products you appreciated most. If you want to ship the products you have purchased, remember for the moment it is only possible on Italian territory.

If I have intolerances or specific food preferences, who should I contact?

If you have intolerances or specific food preferences, you can book your tasting with peace of mind: we have vegan, vegetarian and suitable alternatives for celiacs and those intolerant to lactose. To have them available, it is important to notify us by writing to us after booking at info@margiottavini.it, indicating your name, surname and date of booking and explaining your specific case.
